General instructions for participating in FitPit’s swimming lessons

Please read the instructions before the first swimming session so that we can focus on the essentials right away — achieving your goals.

    The swimming pool is located within the school premises, with an entrance from the inner courtyard. You can park your car in the school's inner courtyard or in the parking area during the evening. Parking is free.

    Enter through the main entrance and from around the corner on the right, you will find a door that leads to a staircase. The pool is located one floor below. After the stairs, continue to the left and enter through the door with the door code that you will receive on the course start date in the course stating information email. Go straight and on the left, you will find a hallway with changing rooms for women and men.

    Kauniala Hospital offers free parking spaces with a parking disc.

    Access to Kilo Swimming Hall is through Kutojankulma, where you turn next to the 95 petrol station. At the corner, you will see a sign for Kutojantie 2E. Turn right at the sign and then immediately turn left. Continue driving around the parking lot (almost 360° turn) until you reach the top.

    The parking area will be in front of you and the entrance to the swimming hall is through the corner of the single-story building in front of you, which has a sign that reads Kilo Swimming Hall and FitPit.

    Access the building through the main entrance using the door code, which you will receive when you make a reservation for the course. You can access the swimming pool from the vestibule through the door immediately on the right, with the same door code, and down the stairs one floor. Next to the swimming pool, you will find a corridor with both women's and men's changing rooms.

    Free parking is available in the yard and along the road.

    Entry is through the main door, and to the right, you will find stairs or an elevator. The pool is located one floor below. To the right of the pool, on the adjacent corridor, you will find the women's locker room. Continuing straight down the corridor, you will find the men's locker room in the lobby area, around the left corner.

    Parking is available across the street at the ice rink parking lot (Pohjoinen Stadiontie), where there is 4-hour free parking with a parking disc. However, during event days, parking is paid. Additionally, parking can be found at the end of Lääkärinkatu, near Laakso Hospital. The parking spaces at the Validia building are limited and paid during evenings and weekends.

    Entrance to Valkea talo is through the inner courtyard located in the center of the building, using door C. Please leave your shoes in the hallway and proceed down the corridor. Turn left into the corridor, where you'll find the changing rooms for both women and men. Access to the pool is through the shower area.

    Free parking is available on the adjacent parking lot on weekends.
